The DIGISTOR™ DIG-31211 allows any DIGISTOR self-powered external optical drive to connect to any system via (2) USB connections for added power support. This cable will allow you to power the drive via (2) USB connections (an A/C adapter is not required to power your external DIGISTOR self-powered drive.)
For heavy usage with your DIGISTOR™ Self-Powered Burner , choose the dual USB connection which will draw additional power from the computer, but will not deplete the internal battery. Strongly recommended for heavy duty disc burning/authoring sessions involving high density data such as in HD movies and RAW image/photo files.
1.) Connect both USB plugs to your computer system's USB 2.0 ports. Note that your computer must have two (2) available USB 2.0 ports.
2.) Connect mini-USB and power plug to the back of your DIGISTOR™ external optical drive.
