• Battery-powered mode / Normal DVD Burner Use :
– Requires only (1) USB connection to Mac or PC laptops, notebooks and netbooks
– No additional power supply or wall adapter required for use
– Product stays within USB spec (draws <500mA from system)

•Dual-USB mode (optional accessory) / Heavy DVD Burner Use :
– Connect DVD burner to your computer system via (2) USB ports (for increased power)
– Required for continuous use as DVD player over 3 hours (ex. watching multiple full length DVD movies)
– Exceeds USB spec (draws 1.5A from system)

Backwards Compatibility of External USB DVD Burner: Fluent compatibility with all DVD disc media formats such as DVD RAM discs, Dual Layer DVD, Double Layer DVD, DVD+R/RW, and DVD-R/RW with CD-R/RW support too!

The DIGISTOR™ External DVD Drive has two connection types:

Single Cable Configuration (for standard usage) • The External DVD drive will last 3-4 hours on a single USB connection, and will auto charge while idle.			Dual Cable Configuration (for heavy usage) • For extended use use the dual USB connection which will draw additional power from the computer, but will not deplete the internal battery
