Battery-powered mode /
Normal Use :
– Requires only (1) USB connection
– No additional power supply or wall adapter required for use
– Product stays within USB spec (draws 500mA from system)

Dual-USB mode /
Heavy Use :
– Connect to your system via (2) USB ports (for increased power)
– Exceeds USB spec (draws 1.5A from system)
Backwards Compatibility: Fluent compatibility with all the most popular DVD media formats such as DVD RAM discs, Dual Layer DVD, Double Layer DVD, DVD+R/RW, and DVD-R/RW with CD-R/RW support too!
The DIGISTOR™ External DVD-ROM Drive has two connection types:
Single Cable Configuration
(for standard usage)
• The External DVD-ROM drive will last 3-4 hours on a single USB connection, and will auto charge while idle. |

Dual Cable Configuration
(for heavy usage)
• For extended use use the dual USB connection which will draw additional power from the computer, but will not deplete the internal battery |
