The DIGISTOR™ Slimline IDE to SATA Bridgeboard allows you to use slimline IDE laptop/notebook optical drives on desktops that are SATA-only, and do not have any ports for IDE/ATAPI standard.

For notebook optical drives that run on slim IDE data connections, this bridgeboard adapter kit can allow you to use those devices on a desktop that only has SATA ports, converting IDE to SATA.
