Adapter Cable converts SATA-ready systems to Slimline SATA

The DIGISTOR™ DIG-31631 is an adapter cable solution designed to simplify integration of Slimline SATA optical drives into systems without a native Slimline SATA power connector.

In early 2008, many optical drive manufacturers began producing a new generation of optical drives, which use a new connection standard called “Slimline SATA”. Slimline SATA is the direct replacement for PATA/IDE as the current standard for all 12.7mm notebook sized optical drives.
