The DIGISTOR™ DIG-USB2-IC converts a 40-pin IDE optical drive to USB connection (for data) and 4-pin molex connection (for power).
This cable kit provides a good solution for old ATAPI/PATA devices that still merits use on newer systems. The newer and faster USB bus gives better functionality for these devices.
