The Panasonic SW-9576 is an internal DVD-RAM Super Multi Burner that reads and writes DVD±R/±R DL/±RW, CD-R/CD-RW optical media discs.
Complete support for authoring large files on dual layer DVD-RAM recordable discs. For use with single sided or double sided DVD-RAM discs in cartridges.
This DVD-RAM cartridge load drive has IDE/ATAPI connectors as used on most Windows desktops and server computers.
DVD-RAM is the most stable and secure of all DVD disc formats, recommended for data back-up and archiving.
DVD-RAM discs in cartridge are free from disc error due to scratch and dirt on the surface.

The Panasonic SW-9576 accepts DVD-RAM discs in cartridge; Singe-sided and Double-sided DVD-RAM discs in cartridge enclosures for the most demanding back-up and archiving applications.
DVD-RAM (DVD–Random Access Memory) is a disc specification presented in 1996 by the DVD Forum. DVD-RAM media have been used in computers as well as camcorders and personal video recorders since 1998.
DVD-RAM Discs in Cartridge are best for data backup because the actual discs are not handled by hand, freeing it from scratches, dirt and fingerprints due to handling. This Panasonic DVD-RAM drive will accept cartridges in both 4.7GB and 9.4GB capacity.
