DIGISTOR™ 40-to-50 Pin IDE Adapter Bridgeboard, Angled Connector

The DIGISTOR™ 40-to-50 Pin IDE Adapter Bridgeboard allows you to use slim laptop/notebook optical drives with 40-pin connectors.

Most notebook optical drives are of the slim design and have 50-pin data connectors. This bridgeboard adapter allows a notebook optical drive – CD-ROM, CDRW, or DVD – to be used with a replacement bezel kit for desktops, through a 40-pin IDE connection.

The angled connector allow s for use in a more space-constrained scenario for alternative form factors.

The DIGISTOR™ DIG-12-6410-01A slimline CD to Desktop IDE Adapter is an adapter used for converting a notebook CD-Rom drive, CDRW or DVD drive with a 50-pin connector to a desktop enhanced IDE 40-pin connector.

Power is supplied through a 3.5" 4 pin mini connector. Two analog audio connectors use the standard 4-pin connection. Compatible with most sound cards.

This part is specifically designed to provide a right angle connection for any scenario where an alternative form-factor is needed.

For use with slim DVD optical drives and can be installed in any custom 5.25" bezel. This Conversion Board requires one floppy drive 4 pin mini connector for power. Design and specifications are subject to change without notice and may differ from those pictured.
