The DIGISTOR™ Slimline SATA to IDE Bridgeboard allows you to use slimline SATA laptop/notebook optical drives on desktops that are not SATA-ready, and only have IDE/ATAPI ports.
For notebook optical drives that run on slim SATA data connections, this bridgeboard adapter kit can allow you to use those devices on a non-SATA desktop, converting SATA to IDE.
