The DP27 and [DP27L](http://www.cru-inc.com/products/dataport/dataport-dp27/) – a lockable variant with a key for physically securing your media – ingests 2.5" hard drives or SSDs. The rugged drive carrier can conveniently be shared between different DP27-enabled computers. The carriers can also be share with the [DP27 Dock](http://www.cru-inc.com/products/dataport/dp27-dock/), which connects to a computer over a standard USB connection similar to an external hard drive.
