VANCOUVER, Wash. – Oct 20, 2026 – DigiStor, a leading provider of secure data-at-rest protection solutions, today announced the appointment of Peter Bell to its Board of Directors. Bell brings decades of experience operating, investing in, advising and scaling technology companies, with deep domain expertise across enterprise software, infrastructure and storage. His appointment adds proven enterprise leadership as DigiStor expands its capabilities to protect mission-critical data from endpoint to edge.

“Peter has spent his career working alongside technology leaders to build companies that solve meaningful customer problems and create long-term value,” said DigiStor CEO Dave Withers. “That perspective will be especially valuable as we grow DigiStor and ensure our technology and capabilities continue to address our customers’ evolving security requirements.”

Bell brings extensive experience as an operator, investor, advisor and board member across multiple stages of growth. Earlier in his career, he co-founded StorageNetworks, a pioneer in storage infrastructure services, leading the company through its initial public offering. He currently serves as Managing Partner at Stowe Capital, General Partner at SSC Venture Partners, and Senior Advisor at Amity Ventures. Previously, Bell was Managing General Partner at Highland Capital Partners, where he led investments in early-stage technology companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, has served on the faculty of the MIT Sloan School of Management and Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, and previously served as a Boston College Trustee.

Throughout his investment career, Bell has partnered with category-defining companies in enterprise software, cybersecurity, infrastructure and data management. His past portfolio companies include Ocarina Networks (acquired by Dell Technologies), Turbonomic (acquired by IBM), Gigamon and SolarWinds.

“DigiStor has an opportunity to build on its deep expertise in secure storage to solve increasingly complex data protection challenges for customers whose missions depend on data security,” said Peter Bell. “I’ve spent much of my career partnering with entrepreneurs and technology companies to turn differentiated capabilities into enduring businesses. I’m excited to work with Dave and the DigiStor team as they grow the company, expand what they can deliver to customers and remain focused on helping those customers successfully carry out their missions.”
